Hi
???where is the cheapest and best place In Edinburgh/Livingston to buy CD's and DVD's for burning images etc (NOT ebay or by post) and can somebody tell me the differences between all the different combinations of CD R + or - and RW and the same for DVD. I am sure this would be useful for club members (like myself) who are not quite sure of what to use and when to use.

Thanks

I got some CD's from Maplins (next door to Halfords), prices were cheaper than the mainstream shops. CD-R means it is a CD format and recordable and you cannot add or erase form that disc after initial burning. CD-RW means you can re-record images, data, etc to this disc. You also have DVD-R & DVD-RW.
Hope that's clear  Huh

Stuart,

I always buy Rewritable DVDs so that if I change an AV I can save to the same disk - find that the Devin  4.7 GB DVDs from Aldi work well, for less then £6 notes for 5 Disks - Vera & I go most weekend so could pick up a box for you if you wish ?

Cheerr and Thanks
