Roe Deer in Calder Wood

Just to advise that I hadn't seen the Deer for about 18 months in Calder Wood but at lunchtime today - Saturday, behind the back of the Masonic Lodge in Mid Calder saw a mature Female Roe Deer in the woodland just to the rear of the lodge itself. Saw me but didn't take any notice.
Is this part of a new strange Masonic Ritual?
Rabbits are also a common sighting at this point.
Kindest Regards George O'Toole
Perhaps we should have a local nature watch item as part of the Forum?
