Hi All,

To start this category - Does anyone have any examples of Panoramic Photography that they have done, and would like to share via a link?

I have a few that were done using just a regular inexpensive tripod - no special head. see - http://www.toucanphoto.com/gallery.htm. These were early trials of taking multiple pictures and stitching them together, using Autostitch (Free, Download - http://www.photo-freeware.net/autostitch.php)

If anybody is interested, I'll put together an easy guide to Panoramic Photography and make it available from our resources webpage.

I have however, just received the new Panosaurus Panoramic Tripod Head (http://gregwired.com/pano/Pano.htm) that was recommended by Bob Moore. It certainly was the most affordable of the tripod heads (£40 + Shipping), as some of the professional ones (Manfrotto etc...) can range upwards of £250.

The down side was that you have to order it from the USA, and put it together, and adjust it for your own camera yourself (not too easy a task!). But I am looking forward to trying the new head out.

More to come!

No trees were destroyed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I have a few that I have put on my flickr site. I will put some more on.

I use Seris panoramaplus which i got free in Digital Camera a few months back. Its really good but a bit slow on my computer. Not sure if you could download it from the website though.

I bought myself a Sony Nex-5 at Christmas, this wee beauty has a Panorama function among other things
All you need to do is select Panorama, press the button and hold it down as you pan, either left to right
or the opposite direction, the Camera takes a series of images at 7 frames per second and automatically sews them together
into a 270 degree Panorama, in seconds.
