Hi all, I've been up to Hermand Birchwood behind West Calder and the fungus in the woods is amazing. I'll post some shots soon as I can. To get there, come into West Calder, left at the library traffic lights, head up towards Harburn. There's a crossroads at the Water House, take a right as if heading for Woolfords. The woods is approx 300m on the left after the crossroads. It's a very sheltered woods, good growth and there is a small car park for about four cars.
