Still Life night - 20th October

Hi All
As some of you may know, my wife is a jeweller. She has offered some shiny and not so shiny pieces of her work as subjects for the club macro night this Wednesday.
Would members like a go at taking some close-ups of silver jewellery? It can be tricky to get the lighting right and avoid reflections or make an interesting image, especially from such small and highly polished surfaces...

Hi Craig,
Your wife's jewellry should make excellent objects for the still life night! I'm sure a lot of members would be interested in this challenge. If you have them, you may want to bring background cloth and stands as well.
