As an alternate to the excellent range of Permajet ( www.permajet.com ) papers demonstrated so well by Libby Smith the other night we have had some communication from a company called Paper Spectrum. They produce a comprehensive range of printing papers some of which are direct copies of papers from other companies ie Permajet. They are of course a bit cheaper 8-32% less They will however send you a free sample A4 pack to try if you send them your Email and contact details to sales@paperspectrum.co.uk Permajet also do sample packs but you need to pay for them. They like Permajet offer a custom profile service to get your printer properly set up as well as offering generic profiles. There is now a link to their website on our links page. I have already used some and can vouch for the quality of the product. They also offer a further 10% of orders over £100.

Anybody wishing to order from Permajet and who didn't get a note of the code to enjoy free P&P on their orders the code is PP7014

I ordered a 30 sheet Test Pack on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday. £14.95 free p&p with the code. Looking forward to trying it out.

I've previously used Permajet and really like the Oyster paper, amongst others.  The sample pack is good value, considering the price of their normal packs!

Will get a sample from the other company and try them too...

I just looked at Paper Spectrum and their hefty postage charge (£6.95+VAT) will make small orders at Permajet, with the free delivery code above, cheaper.

The Permajet website is dismally slow and tricky to navigate though!
