Hi Steven,

The syllabus is on the website with all the dates and themes - http://www.midcaldercameraclub.org.uk/syllabus.html and on the Competitions Results page http://www.midcaldercameraclub.org.uk/resultspage.html

Mid Calder Camera Club runs four regular Appraisals for prints and for projected images, as well as a Portfolio, Equaliser and an Image of the Year (print and projected for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) Competitions.

We also participate in Inter Club Competitions, through out the region.

MCCC v Midlothian CC (November 10th)
MCCC v Livingston CC (January 10th)
10 Way Inter Club (February 13th)
West Lothian Competition (April 13th)

As well as participating in The Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF) Competitions.

Print Competition (November 21st)
Projected Image Competition (February 21st)

This year we have two open appraisals and two themed appraisals. The subjects for the themed appraisals are "Scapes" and "Monochrome / Action and Movement ".

Open Appraisal 1 Oct 13th (Hand in all images on Sept 29th) Ian McIntosh
Themed Appraisal 2 (Scapes) Nov 24th (Hand in Nov 10th) John Knox
Open Appraisal 3 Jan 26th (Hand in - on or before Jan 12th) Harry Milburn
Themed Appraisal 4 (Mono/Action & Movement) Mar 23th (Hand in Mar 9th) TBA

Hope this helps - Willie
