Hi fellow members,

We are setting up two photographic studios at the Institute Hall on Saturday March 26th. This will take the form of an "All day drop in session" from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Some of the Studio Photography that we are planning for the day will include the following;

10:30 am - 11:30 am

Model Aircraft Planes
Planes with a 6 foot wingspan, courtesy of Livingston Model Aircraft Club www.lmac-site.com.

Green Screen Photography, in combination with the above Model Aircraft Photography.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Dance Model Portraits
Rab has kindly asked 2 graduating dancers from the local college to pose for us.

"Belly Dancer"
Margaret has kindly arranged for a costumed dancer to pose for us.

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Rock Band Member Portraits
Andy will be accompanied with other members of his Rock Band, along with some of their equipment, to pose for us.

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Family Portraits (BYOF)
I have asked a local family to pose for us. If you wish to bring along family members, or friends to pose for yourself and others, please do so.

All Day

Table top Studio
This will perhaps be downstairs and run for the length of the day. An opportunity to set up some still life shots - bring in anything you wish to photograph.

Times are approximate and are subject to change. We will need volunteers to help set up the 2 studios starting around 9:30 am. Please feel free to drop by early.
There will be a small fee per person for the rental of the hall (approx. £2, because this is outwith a normal club night).

Hope to see you there!

IMPORTANT If you wish to photograph family members then the club will need a Model Release Form signed for each person. In the case of a minor, the legal guardian has to sign the club model release form. They will be available on the day, as well as the Wednesday nights preceding the event (see Fred), and can be downloaded from the club website http://www.midcaldercameraclub.org.uk/exec/MCCCModelRelease.pdf.  It just means that if a club member has a nice shot of your family and wants to enter it into an appraisal – they can. Also it means that we can display the best images of the day up on the club website.

I'd want to come on either day, except Sun 13 March.  Family portrait has been requested too, so if someone's willing to break their lens on my and mine for a shot or two, let me know!  Wink

In reply to Louise post  Portrait Day it is really a full Studio day, and it will take place on Saturday 26Th March , which will be a drop in day – Willie has been putting the final finishing touches to the organisation for the event and  and should have a detailed program outlined and on the Forum very soon, so watch this space for the full details for the 26Th

Guys happy to assist Willie and all on the day!

Subject to lots of Red Bull & Chocolate! PS The odd bribe of cider helps as well!

I'd like to be down in the morning for a time if possible and maybe during the portrait sessions in the afternoon.
