Hi everyone just a quick question.

Where (locally) would you recommend to get the camera sensor cleaned? Somewhere that does not post the camera away to be done either.

Thank you

If you're brave enough  Smiley to do it yourself, Rab, the club has sensor cleaning stuff in the cupboard. I've cleaned mine with reasonable results and Ian McIntosh & Gordon have also done theirs.
I think AJ Johnston in Glasgow also do this on a sort of "while you wait" service that takes a couple of hours. They are authorised repairers for all major makes.

If you can wait, then Calumet photo in Leith will do it free during one of their open days.

Open days are listed on their seminars website: http://www.calumetseminars.co.uk/ (which seems to be down for me right now Sad )

Thank you for the replies.

Steve,I don't thing i am that confident do do this myself just yet.. I think I would rather have someone who knows what they are doing to do it for me and get it done right..

Peter, I had a look at the link, They also do this if you take the camera in. It works out cheaper for you to get it done and pay for it but the seminars look like a good idea though..

Thank you again..
