Ink and Paper

Hi Folks
 
I am needing to buy a supply of cartridges for my Epson R1800 Printer plus some A3 paper. I use a company called Premier Ink Supplies for the cartridges and was wondering if anyone uses a specific supplier that offers a good price.

Hi Ian,

Great question, and one that will have as many answers as we have club members! One suggestion is to try eBay, for both (genuine Epson) inks and papers. I have purchased cartridges for my old Epson 1290 and they are averaging about £10.00 each for the colour one, which goes for £29.00 at PC World.

Gordon also has had success with these cartridges on eBay, in fact at one point we were bidding against each other until we found out who the other one was! Gordon has also reported success with buying PermaJet Papers on eBay, which are very high quality papers. I have a “favorite” search on for Epson Premium Glossy A3 Papers, and there are “buy it now” offers on every day for 40 sheets for £35.70 (RRP £108) plus shipping.
