Argarty red kites

How about a club outing to here: -

I was there last year and went on the woodland walk with the ranger and then watched the Red kites being fed - Fast, and I mean FAST! camera speeds boys and girls!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beside the kites, I saw Buzzard and Raven plus woodland birds. Again, if we time it right, there are lots of wild woodland plants including orchids (get those macro lenses out)

Good day out - we could get the minibus - do a walk in the morning followed by a picnic lunch and the kites in the afternoon. We could even take in a pint in Doune before coming down the road.

This sounds like a good day out, assumning the wather is kind to us! I'd be interested, and I'm sure Grant would be too if the place is open on a Sunday, 'cos he works on Saturdays. Mini bus - yes. Stopping in Doune for a pint for everyone except the driver???  Hmmmm!!!
